Kernza® Beer Release Party: Broken Clock Brewing and Friends of the Misssissippi River
Broken Clock Brewing Cooperative and partners Friends of the Mississippi River (FMR) are hosting a Kernza® beer release party in Minneapolis, MN, on October 17th to celebrate FMR’s work in environmental conservation. The Plum Kernza Wheat Ale, named “Deep Roots, Clean Waters,” is a nod to the perennial grain’s ability to reduce fertilizer runoff and protect public drinking water and natural waterways.
“We’re thrilled to collaborate with Friends of the Mississippi River on this meaningful project. This beer is not only a celebration of the incredible work that FMR does for our community but also a way to raise awareness about the vital importance of clean water and healthy ecosystems.” — Jeremy Mathison, Founder and Brewery Operations Manager at Broken Clock
The beer release will begin at 5pm CDT at Broken Clock Brewing Cooperative’s taproom: 1712 Marshall St. NE Suite 100, Minneapolis, MN 55413.
