KernzaCon 2025: Fargo, North Dakota

Event, Kernza® at work

Researchers, students, and members of the Kernza network are preparing to meet for KernzaCon 2025 in Fargo, North Dakota, from June 9-11, 2025. The event will be held and hosted in collaboration with North Dakota State University (NDSU). The program will highlight current research projects and progress in breeding, agronomy, ecosystem services, soil health, food science, and market development. Monday, 6/9 

  • 6 pm – Welcome reception

Tuesday, 6/10

  • 8 am – 5 pm: Speaker program
  • 6 pm: Evening poster and networking session

Wednesday, 6/11

  • 8 am – 12 pm: Speaker program and tour of Northern Crops Institute (NCI)
  • 1 pm – 5 pm: Bus tour of North Dakota speciality crop processors

Registration*

1.) Standard registration: $200 if registering before May 20 or $250 if registering between May 21 and June 2

  • Includes refreshments, two receptions, poster session, and lunches on June 10 & 11.
  • Registration deadline June 2, 2025 at 5:00 pm Central Time.

2.) Graduate students: $100 before May 20 / $150 May 21-June 2

  • Email Clair Keene at clair.keene@ndsu.edu for student discount code and include
    your name, institution, and name of your major advisor

3.) Virtual attendance via Zoom: $30

  • Tuesday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm / Wednesday 8:00 am – 10:30 am
