A new article in NPR’s St. Louis Public Radio KWMU 1 discusses how consumer demand for Kernza® products can help spur a sustainable agriculture future where perennial grains deliver substantial benefits to people and the planet. This story follows a collaborative Kernza beer event held by Blue Jay Brewing, Millpond Brewing, Side Project Brewing, Switchgrass Spirits, and the Danforth Plant Science Center and highlights the critical role of the craft brewing industry in developing a market for Kernza perennial grain.
