The next big thing for beer and bakery could be a small grain

Madison, WI, digital magazine Isthmus recently featured Kernza in an article about Wisconsin producers. Kernza perennial grain is capturing the attention of local bakers Annemarie Maitri, Mark Pavlovich of Bloom Bake Shop, and brewer Scott Manning of Vintage Brewing. Clean Wisconsin, The Land Institute, UW-Madison’s College of Agriculture and Life SciencesMeadowlark OrganicsPerennial Pantry were also featured.
