New Research on Mechanical Termination of Kernza and Impacts on Soil Structure & Carbon

Researchers from the University of Minnesota and The Ohio State University released a paper documenting the impacts of mechanical termination of Kernza stands on soil structure, soil carbon stocks, and soil CO_2.This research provides new information about how the perennial grain crop can be terminated for subsequent annual crop production in rotations that enhance agricultural productivity and environmental sustainability.
